Demi & Casey Dec 6 2018
How it all began
"Casey and I first met at church. He moved here from Pennsylvania to work at Robins AFB. The first time we met he asked me to a movie and I told him no because I had just gotten out of a relationship. After about four months of him growing on me and us seeing each other at church, he asked me out again and I said yes this time. We dated for 9 months when he proposed and the rest is history!"
How did Casey pop the question?
"Casey and I planned to go out to dinner one weekend and he came to my parent's house to pick me up. He showed up with roses all nervous and asked me to go out on the porch. It had started pouring rain so “we had to wait for it to stop”. On the porch, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. The ring was one he had picked out all by himself!"
Tell us about your wedding day. What was your favorite part? Would you do anything differently? What would you share with people planning their day?
My favorite part of the wedding day was getting to see Casey for the first look and then walk around and take pictures. It was super fun to kind of hang out before the ceremony while we took our pictures."
If you did First Look, First Touch, First Talk, etc. tell us about it. Would you recommend it to others?
I did a first look with my dad and a first look with my husband. I would totally recommend doing a first look because it got rid of all of the nerves and stress! It doesn’t take away from walking down the aisle because it’s still special."
How was your experience at The Wedding Barn at L'Horne? Is there anything you would change? What was your favorite part of having your special day with us?
The Wedding Barn at L’Horne was the perfect place for our wedding! I wouldn’t have wanted to have it anywhere else. Mrs Anna and her husband were so accommodating and made the day wonderful."
